The FLUXNET Data Explorer
Explore and download a continuously refreshed (last updated: unavailable) compilation of the official FLUXNET Shuttle catalog, along with additional site data that are hosted elsewhere. The compilation includes observations contributed by regional networks worldwide, including data processed to the FLUXNET standard through the OneFlux pipeline.
Search by site ID, name or characteristic, then open hub-hosted download links directly from the table, or use the bulk tools provided. Beyond the sites available through the FLUXNET Shuttle (https://data.fluxnet.org/), this explorer also surfaces additional records hosted on regional network portals, to provide the maximum amount of flux observations possible.
FLUXNET is an international “network of networks” that brings together 100’s of sites worldwide and thousands of earth system scientists. Using the eddy covariance technique, FLUXNET researchers measure exchanges of carbon, water, and energy between the land surface and the atmosphere. These data support research on ecosystem function, land–atmosphere interactions, and responses to environmental change.
The data presented here were discovered using a metadata snapshot generated by the Q.E.D. Lab FLUXNET Data Explorer. Contact TF Keenan (trevorkeenan@berkeley.edu) with any questions or suggestions.
